You are absolutely right. In general, most people greatly misunderstand just what the term "feminism" means. Unfortunately, it has developed a negative connotation in many circles. What's even worse is the wage disparity between men and women when they do the same job. Not only that but there were many jobs not open to women (like radio news where I was first woman on air in 77 in Denver KTLK). Thanks for posting this and realizing that feminists like myself do NOT hate men, we hate systems that put people in little boxes because of their gender!
