Sometimes the best way to feel better is to laugh at yourself a little. I’m usually sarcastic by nature and often poke fun at my own faults. However, there is also a great release when others make jokes about the very problems that you face. One outlet that I have found is a web comic series called Happysad.
The creator of the series, a Belgian cartoonist known as Jeroen, struggles with the very same “nice guy” problems that I often bring up. He provides his own views on the inability to establish relationships, while also joking about himself and the girls he goes after. Overall, it’s a great series with a number of uplifting and heartfelt as well as comedic and satirical situations. It’s a great way to vent some of the disappointment of rejection if you are in need.
