Just realized that I haven't written a push-ups post since the end of my first week. If you have been following my push ups logger then you'll have seen how I've been doing.

And how have I been doing? Quite well actually.

This week has been different from the previous weeks because there are more push-up sets in each workout. I've noticed my endurance improving, which is great. I've also noticed more and more definition in my abs, which is also great! Read More...

I just finished with my first week of push-ups and, in a way, I've already succeeded. My goal is to complete 100 push-ups in a row and yesterday I did a total of 122!

Granted, I had two minute breaks in between the sets that I did, but I was still pretty impressed with myself. Perhaps it was just because I had more time to rest in between the sets, but overall I didn't feel as burned out. Best of all, in the final set, when I was supposed to complete as many push-ups as I could, I managed 30. This is proof to me that I am improving since I was only able to do 28 in my initial exhaustion test. Read More...

Lately I've been thinking more and more about fitness and strength. For me personally, I'm in good physical shape and eat relatively healthfully; however, I'm not very consistent with any of these areas. And since I am thinking about becoming a physical educator and trainer, it makes sense for me to start a stable program.

That being said, one program that interested me was the "One Hundred Push-Ups" program. You may have heard of it, since there are a number of spin-offs and variations. I decided, what the heck, why not give it a shot? Supposedly, anyone can do it, and if I'm as in shape as I think I am, it should be a piece of cake. Or several pieces of cake. Or several pieces of low-calorie cake. Read More...
