Honorable Mention vol. V – Language Aquisition [Postponed]!
Though I hate to do this to you, I have some bad news about the Honorable Mention that was supposed to be posted today. Due to some poor planning on my part, as well as a lack of sufficient submissions, I am forced to postpone the Honorable Mention segment. And since I will not be around for much of June to review the submitted work, the next Honorable Mention will not be posted until August 1st.
I apologize for this, but I feel there is no other way to properly handle the current situation. So instead of the segment compiling one month’s submissions, submissions will be open throughout the summer.
How Does This Effect You?
If you are a blogger and have submitted your work to me, then I still have it and I will still consider it for the next Honorable Mention posting in August. You need not re-submit your content.
If you are a blogger and you have not submitted your content, you have more time to do so! The theme is language acquisition and bilingualism, so if you have a post on this topic, head to the Honorable Mention Submission Page to see the details.
If you are a reader, then all you have to do is sit tight. There will be a brief pause in the posting of Honorable Mentions, but return in August to see what the Blog-o-sphere has had to say during the summer months.
Thank you so much for your understanding and patience. Though I cannot promise this will never happen again (I am only human, after all…), I assure you I will do my best to keep up with these in the future.
