Push Ups: Week 3
Just realized that I haven’t written a push-ups post since the end of my first week. If you have been following my push ups logger then you’ll have seen how I’ve been doing.
And how have I been doing? Quite well actually.
This week has been different from the previous weeks because there are more push-up sets in each workout. I’ve noticed my endurance improving, which is great. I’ve also noticed more and more definition in my abs, which is also great!
What has been the most exciting are my exhaustion tests. Each time I tested how many push-ups I could perform without resting, I have done about ten more than the last time (week 1: 28, week 2: 38, week 3: 46).
I feel great after having done almost 50 push-ups; however, I’m a bit nervous. This coming week is the last week of my workout, which means I’m supposed to be able to perform 100 push-ups in a row. At my rate, though, I’ll need another 5-6 weeks before that’s possible. According to the workout plan, I’m right where I need to be, so I’m going to trust they know what they’re talking about.
If all else fails, I’ve come too far to stop at 50. If it’s possible to do 100, then I’ll do it. Even if it takes me all of March to do it!
