Push Ups: Week 1, Day 3
I just finished with my first week of push-ups and, in a way, I’ve already succeeded. My goal is to complete 100 push-ups in a row and yesterday I did a total of 122!
Granted, I had two minute breaks in between the sets that I did, but I was still pretty impressed with myself. Perhaps it was just because I had more time to rest in between the sets, but overall I didn’t feel as burned out. Best of all, in the final set, when I was supposed to complete as many push-ups as I could, I managed 30. This is proof to me that I am improving since I was only able to do 28 in my initial exhaustion test.
It has only been a week, but I’m already starting to see a bit more definition in my abs and biceps. Best of all, I feel great! That is, when I’ve had time to rest after a workout.
I get to take a break now until Monday, but I’m excited to keep up with the work out. Next week I have to do another exhaustion test, and I’m looking forward to seeing just how many more push-ups I can do in a row without the breaks in between.
Wish me luck!
