The preparation for the circus show Obsession has granted me the opportunity to put together my own acts. Training has proven tough, but I'm looking forward to the show!

Though I have been training in the circus arts for quite some time now, things completely change when you start putting together an act. In preparation for the show Obsession I will be staring in, I have not only come up with one, but two new acts.

Both of which will be the firsts of my career!

I’ve done little performances before, but never in an actual “circus show.” Never one where I would be working with other, skilled circus performers. Never one where we have lighting, and posters, and set design, and costumes.

It’s all a bit overwhelming. But extremely exciting!

It’s been a long time coming, but I’ve finally pieced together a partner acrobatics act with my good friend Alix. We needed a lot of help and guidance, but we’re really happy with the way it’s turned out.

I’m also working on an act with my staff, which will (quite possibly) involve fire. We’re still working on the details of how we’re going to set up the stage in preparation for that, but it’s looking like that will come together as well. In any case, I have a whole non-fire routine worked out, which is exciting in itself.

We’re still rushing to get all of the final show details hammered out (as is normal for any stage show), and we’re all pretty exhausted/stressed. But I know I’m pumped to perform!

Hope you can make it!
